Nothing here changes your books. Test 3 writes one tiny file and deletes it right away, only if you press that button. When you're done, press Copy results and paste them to Claude.
1Your helper
Checks that the helper rides along at this same address.
2Google sign-in
Signs in with the limited "only files you use with this app" permission.
3Your existing Books Cloud
Google's file picker opens. Choose your Books Cloud folder. Then Librarian tries to look inside it, inside a genre folder, and inside an author folder, and reads the first bytes of one book. This tells us whether a fresh upload is needed.
Needs the Picker key (see Claude's steps). It stays in this browser only.
4Your X4 over Wi-Fi
On the X4, open File Transfer. Then press Check. Run this on your phone and on your Chromebook. If Chrome asks to "look for and connect to devices on your local network", choose Allow.
If crosspoint.local fails, type the number the X4 shows on its screen (like 192.168.1.47) and try again.
